Members of CUS will be granted access the DER Registry as well as certain tools and systems applicable to their membership type.
In short, the electric industry and its stakeholders. This includes utilities, regulatory authorities, industry members, ISO/RTOs, aggregators, and competitive suppliers. For a full list of member types and information about each member type, see the list of membership types below.

By invitation of the CUS Board of Directors.
Electric Utility that plans, operates, and coordinates the electric distribution system. Or a Holding Company or Association that represents multiple Electric Distribution Utilities.
Electric Utility that plans, operates, or coordinates the electric distribution system and is only using the DER data collection functionality of the DER Registry.
Regulatory Authority (State Commission, Municipal Authority, Tribal Authority, Cooperative board, etc).
DER Equipment Manufacturers, Market/Retail Electric Providers, Scheduling Entities, Independent Software Vendors (GIS, CIS, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, etc.), and Consulting Vendors with Utility Sponsorship.
Independent system operator or regional transmission organization that plans, operates and coordinates the bulk/EHV electric system and markets.
Any organization that aggregates DERs for ISO, RTO, or utility programs.
An organization that provides DER aggregation services for ISO/RTO and utility programs.
